Muguerza explica el mal moment que passa la Universitat espanyola i el final catastròfic que es veu a venir. Comenta que finalment s'ha solucionat el seu nomenament i que estant apunt de preparar el trasllat. Li parla del seu llibre, en principi hauria d'estar enllestit a finals de desembre. L'informa de l'entusiasme d'Olaso amb el volum homenatge dedicat a Ferrater ​
