Laguna explica a Ferrater que sembla que a Berkeley hi ha cert interès per qüestions que no es redueixen a la filosofia del llenguatge corrent. Ha comprat la traducció oficial de "Sein und Zeit" de Heidegger i li agradaria molt poder discutir amb ell les tesis del llibre. Laguna dedica quatre pàgines de la carta a discutir algunes d'aquestes tesis així com alguns paràgrafs del llibre
