Muguerza explica que ja està instal·lat a Madrid. Comenta la seva situació a la Uned; l'informa que figura com a professor contractat malgrat conserva la seva condició de catedràtic. Parla de la mort de Deaño que no ho acaba d'assimilar i de les gestions amb la Fundació March per trobar una editorial que publiqui el llibre homenatge. Explica que està molt deprimit i que en conseqüència no modificarà la seva contribució ​
