Kline fa saber a Ferrater que de moment tres editors anglesos han rebutjat publicar "Man at the Crossroads", però creu que abans de deixar el projecte arraconat podria intentar-se amb un últim editor. Li explica que li han concedit una beca per estar- se un mes a Rússia i que després pensa anar a París, on potser podrien coincidir.
