En aquesta carta Kline envia a Ferrater alguns comentaris de les pàgines que ha llegit del manuscrit d "El ser y el sentido". Li comenta que Wellesley College no ha volgut acceptar l'ingrés de la seva filla Brenda fins que no estigui més recuperada. Bryn Mawr, però, ha acceptat que assisteixi al "college" com a estudiant especial i hi faci algun curs. Potser podria assistir a algun dels cursos de Ferrater? ​
