Kline comenta a Ferrater una qüestió relacionada amb un document que adjunta a la carta i del qual no tenim cap referència (sembla estar relacionat amb ajudar acadèmicament a un Sr. Moreno que ha estat perseguit per les seves idees lliberals). Kline s'interessa per un incendi que ha tingut lloc a Bryn Mawr i per la bibliografia que Ferrater pugui haver recollit sobre Whitehead per la nova edició del "Diccionario". Acaba la carta fent-li saber que ha tingut una oferta de feina de la Universitat de Maryland força bona però que l'ha rebutjat per preferir Bryn Mawr
