Castro, abans de marxar cap a Texas, respon breument una carta de Ferrater i li fa una observació sobre una frase d'un llibre de Ferrater (que no menciona però podem assumir que es tracta de El Ser y la Muerte). A la postdata Castro es queixa d'una crítica "ridícula y maligna" que un frare mexicà li ha fet del seu últim llibre (La realidad histórica de España)
